About us
Explore Beer Devon is a local guide to Beer and the surrounding Jurassic Coast, written by us: Mikey and Cherie.
We lived in Beer full-time with our young daughter for over two years before launching Sea Holly House, so we know the village as residents, not just visitors. We know which walks work with little legs, which beaches are calmer at different times of day, and how much the village changes with the seasons.
Planning a trip somewhere new can be overwhelming. This site is our attempt to make it simple, with honest, practical answers to the questions visitors ask us most: what to do, which beaches to visit, where to eat, and how to fit it all into a short stay.
